Virgil has been a registered pharmacist for the past 38 years. She has worked in the public service both hospital and community pharmacy. After leaving the public service in 1989, she joined the private sector as a pharmacist at Renwick & Company Ltd, a distributor for pharmaceuticals. Presently, she continues to hold the position as Pharmaceutical Manager at Renwick & Company Ltd.
She is a member of the Pharmaceutical Association of St Lucia Incorporated (PASLInc.) and a member of the Caribbean Association of Pharmacists (CAP).
Virgil was appointed a member of the pharmacy council in 2007, and is passionate about raising the standard of the pharmacy profession in St Lucia.
